Banking scams via email and phone PDF Print E-mail

Your mailbox might be inundated with FAKE messages from banks in an attempt to disclose your banking details and logon detail for Internet Banking. These emails look like ligitimate banking emails, but they are not. They lure you into a fake online banking website, that again looks like the real banking website.

Banks will under no circumstances request you to disclose your banking details via email or through a website. They will never ask you to update your banking details!

The latest scam is that one receive FAKE calls from banks.

Do not disclose any banking details via phone or email or on the web.
